Harvard has applied for a patent that just may have new implications for how you wear color, in make-up and hair. Scientists are working with nano scale structures, like colloidal crystals that have the ability to scatter and reflect light which affects color. Using this technology in films and layering the applications, gives the color different reflective properties.
